Session 12: On the Couch with Molly from Insecure

View descriptionShare

The Therapy for Black Girls Podcast is a weekly conversation with Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, a licensed Psychologist in Atlanta, Georgia, about all things mental health, personal development, and all the small decisions we can make to become the best possible version of ourselves.

This week's episode is an On the Couch Episode all about Molly from HBO's hit show, Insecure. My special guest therapist is Esther Boykin, LMFT from Group Therapy Associates in Washington, DC. We discussed the reluctance that Black women sometimes have to beginning therapy, dating dilemmas that often drive one's desire to begin therapy, and how to ask for the difficult feedback you may need to hear to help you truly have an honest assessment of yourself.
