Testosterone. Dudes have it. Women have it (in small amounts). Teenage boys have truck loads of it. And it can have a profound impact on everything from risk-taking, empathy and communication to differences in socialisation, thinking, decision-making and even, cause of death (men are three-times more likely to die from an accident). This is an interesting chat with David Gillespie about a ubiquitous hormone that is often misunderstood and/or misrepresented. Oh, and wait till you hear the ‘origin story’ of testosterone therapy (I use the word ‘therapy’ very loosely). Enjoy.
