It seems that people are becoming addicted to more and more things. But are they actual addictions in the context of some of the more recognisable and familiar addictions (drugs, booze, gambling, porn)? Or, are they ‘mere’ obsessions, compulsions or disorders that also lead to poor, and sometimes devastating, personal outcomes? Is there a line? If so, what is it, and where is it? This is a complicated topic and conversation, but at the very least, we had an interesting chat about it. Enjoy.
