Amazingly, the title of this podcast is not a metaphor. Rhys Thomas literally held his own heart in his hands. I don’t want to spoil the story because it’s so great, but the snapshot is that Rhys is a former professional rugby player and international representative who has had a crazy, fascinating, and inspiring life, full of peaks and troughs, breakdowns and breakthroughs, agony and ecstasy, and 11 weeks ago he received a new heart.
