In this TYP instalment, Professor Bill and I chat about the recent media hysteria around an alleged link between Tylenol (paracetamol in Australia) and autism. And while l'm no expert, it's fair to say that the bloke who's both a Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology and a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Indiana University School of Medicine (The Prof.) is more medically informed and qualified to comment than most. So he did. And I listened.

Dr. Ezekiel "Zeke" Emanuel is one of the world's most respected physician-philosophers. He's an oncologist, bioethicist, health policy expert, and professor at the University of Pennsylvania. His work sits at the intersection of medicine, ethics, public policy, and healthcare reform.
Zeke has a MD from Harvard Medical School and a PhD in political philosophy from Harvard University. He also earned an MSc in biochemistry from University of Oxford and a BA in chemistry from Amherst College. It was great to sit down with one of the most respected researchers and academics in the world. I really enjoyed my time with the Doc, and while we agreed on nearly everything, we did diverge on one or two things but of course we did; we’re two humans. Enjoy!
