Every time I record a podcast, and Melissa edits it (gaps, coughs, long pauses, etc.) I ask her, "what score do you give it?" because I want a simple, quick numerical evaluation of the chat. It's true that many of us waste significant energy on things which provide us with a poor return on that energetic investment. That is, we focus on (obsess about?) things we can't really change or control, while investing little or no energy in the things we can. For me, learning to optimise my physical, mental and emotional energy has been a decades-long process. Enjoy.
