Today we are revisiting one of my favourite chats with Giaan Rooney. According to Giaan, ‘raising kids’ is the answer to the title question. Apart from being a World Champion, Olympic Gold Medallist, TV Presenter, Sports Commentator, Author, Corporate Speaker, Fashion Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Macadamia Farmer, Mum of Two and Wife of one, Giaan Rooney hasn’t really done much. For this chat, Bobby, Tiff and I focus on the "energy" part of the question. It's true that many of us waste significant energy on things which provide us with a poor return on that energetic investment. That is, we focus on (obsess about?) things we can't really change or control, while investing little or no energy in the things we can. For me, learning to optimise my physical, mental and emotional energy has been a decades-long process. Enjoy.
