Tadhg Kennelly (former Sydney Swan) and David Eccles are two great blokes, doing great work supporting other blokes to prioritise their mental and emotional health (for their benefit, and their family), with a very hands-on, practical and personal approach, through the amazing community they've created called ‘WNOW' (When No One is Watching). What started as one Mate supporting another through a rough patch, has turned into an inspiring and powerful movement, consisting of 25 chapters in multiple countries (and expanding rapidly) and when I said "two great blokes", I genuinely meant it. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has just cleared the digital therapeutic EndeavorOTC (AKL-TO1), as an 'over-the-counter treatment' for adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) delivered through a video game experience. Good f**king grief. What could go wrong?

Mel Tempest is a fitness industry warrior and pioneer, someone who cares deeply about, and fights for, the industry I grew up in, worked in and 'lived in' for four decades. This episode was essentially a catch up between old friends, waxing lyrical about the old and new, the good and bad, the known and unknown of the Australian fitness landscape. Did you know that there is no government regulation for the Australian fitness industry, meaning that as an unregulated industry, there's no legal requirement (to work in the field) for accreditation, education or insurance?

Hi Team. I’ve been under the pump this past weekend, so for today’s ep. we’re revisiting one of my all-time top 10 TYP chats, with the incredible Dr. Kylie Moore-Gilbert who is an Australian academic who was arrested at Tehran’s International Airport in Iran in September of 2018 for a crime that she didn’t commit. In fact, a crime that didn’t actually happen. She was charged with espionage and subsequently spent 804 days incarcerated in a Tehran prison; an innocent Aussie stranded in a version of hell on earth. Not only did she spend much of her time in total isolation (solitary confinement), but she also endured ongoing abuse, mental torture, deprivation, threats and months of interrogations. In the middle of the darkness, there were moments of sunshine, in the form of some beautiful woman (fellow prisoners) who showed her love and compassion when she needed it most. This is an amazing story of courage, resilience, adaptation and survival.
