TYP’S resident Brainiac (and one of Australia’s most successful authors) David Gillespie is back, and this time we talk about the reality of living in a world which is increasingly being influenced and impacted (for good and bad) by artificial intelligence. Among other things, we talk about how in a short period of time (months), Chat GPT has gone from something none of us had heard of, to something which is currently being used by more than a hundred million people. We also discuss the possibility of A.I. becoming sentient (thinking for itself and teaching itself).. not terrifying at all!
