The only remaining leader of the 1956 Women's March to the Union Buildings Mme Sophie Sophie De Bruyn says women should not lose hope to make the country a safe and better place for all. She was speaking to the SABC News ahead of the 70th anniversary of the historic on the seat of government. On the 9th of August seventy years ago, over 20 thousand women marched to the Union Buildings to protest against the draconian Pass Laws. Our Politics Reporter Ntebo Mokobo has more.
