Matric class of 2024, which career direction can they take?

Last week Wednesday marked the end of the matric exams for the class of 2024. Many of them are feeling a sense of relief even getting authorities worried about the 'pens-down' celebrations that usually take place at the end of the exams. But, we all know the next level gets very difficult as it's time to choose a career that will guarantee employment, especially in the current state of the economy where jobs are scarce. Over the years former Minister of Higher Education Dr Blade Nzimande has been pushing for vocational and artisanal training to be prioritized. Some of the country's youth on the continent are looking to the east to strengthen young people's skills in the sector which could give them the ability to create their employment and find jobs. To talk more about the state of the sector in this country and also hear from a young person about the challenges of finding a job, we are joined by....
