He draws inspiration for his work from the techniques and the heritage of African string instruments. His work has brought him to stages on four continents and has played for former President, Nelson Mandela. He has worked alongside John Williams (Australia), Egberto Gismonti (Brazil), Toumani Diabate (Mali) and Debashish Bhattacharya (India).
