Eden Park turf manager Blair Christiansen has been in the US for a couple of weeks - in his new role as pitch venue manager for New York New Jersey Stadium.
"What I'll do is sort of just provide confidence, feedback, assistance, and sort of just linking a pretty big operation on an international sporting body to a local venue."
