One in four Australians reported feeling lonely at least one day a week, and it can get even worse after the sun goes down. Research has shown that loneliness is linked with higher sleep disturbance, insomnia and poor sleep satisfaction. So, what steps can we take to get on top of nocturnal loneliness?
