LGBTQ+ Singaporeans gather around a microphone to share stories of love, loss, friendship and family.

Hosted by Joshua Simon, Sam Jo and Kennede Sng. Recorded in Singapore, a largely conservative country that criminalises sex between men and where there are no anti-discrimination laws for LGBTQ+ people, The SG Boys aims to be a safe space where all are welcome.

The SG Boys

This is what happens when you put gay Singaporeans in a room together with a microphone. Colourful, earnest conversations on life lessons, pop culture and above all things, love.

Recorded in a largely conservative country where same-sex sexual activity is illegal, The SG Boys is a safe space where all are welcome.

Trigger warning: This episode mentions self-harm and suicide which may be distressing for some.

Comedian and YouTube royalty Hirzi Zulkiflie has plenty to get off his smooth chest and we are here for it! The multiple traumas of dating as a brown gay man in Singapore? Check. Queer spaces that are too catty for his liking? Double check. Even the rainbow pride flag and Beyoncé are not spared in this tell-all slash sponty therapy session. We find out why Hirzi has blocked over 1,400 guys on social media, and why he may actually forgive Nicki Minaj someday. Our convo is mostly banter and laughter until we take it back to 2015, when Hirzi and his partner in "crime" Munah were the first Malay-Muslim ambassadors for Pink Dot. What started as a proud moment soon spiralled into one of the darkest periods of his life - one that, despite all his smiles and brave front, still brings him to tears.

Are you ready to confess? 'Cause we have something we wanna talk about! Singapore's 1st clinical sexologist, Dr Martha Tara Lee, joins us for an honest discussion on love, lust and all things coitus. We ask Martha all the burning questions we have, including: Can pornography be educational or destructive? Is no sex in a relationship a red flag? Should d*ck cheese and unwashed genitals be the ultimate dealbreaker? Also, how is Martha's sex life as a sexologist? As with many of our episodes, we find ourselves in therapy mode, unpacking our most traumatic sexcapades! Like why Josh developed a fear of sex. And why Sam Jo doesn't always enjoy choking.

Confessions Of A Sexologist | with Dr Martha Lee

You wanted more in 2026 so here we go! Would we date each other? What's the worst gay dating app? Why does military wear turn us on so much?

The conversation turns tender as we wonder: Is being gay more a blessing or a curse? Surely queer pop culture and the unapologetic appreciation of penis are reasons enough to celebrate! Or is being loud and proud a privilege that not everyone can afford?

This episode was recorded before noon in broad daylight. Tune in as we veer off on various tangents and demonstrate why we are not morning people.
