Top 5 Tips for Implementing Self Care!

View descriptionShare

Self Care doesn’t look the same for everyone - and nor should it. You are unique and your needs are unique.

So how do we implement self care and what does that look like?
What are some of the ways you can ‘self care’?

Often people get overwhelmed or it feels like it’s another thing to add to the schedule BUT that’s because there’s a mis-understanding of what self care should look like.

Self Care is a way of grounding and bringing you back to yourself and your body - it should be;

  • something that resonates with you
  • something that makes you feel happy and loved
  • something that doesn’t necessarily involve other people or things

Self Care doesn't need to be long drawn out events, it can be something quick and simple that you can do each and every day.

Today we chat about how to;

  1.  Priortise time in your schedule
  2. utilise Friendships and external support networks
  3. explore other forms of self care that isn’t meditation or mindfulness
  4. increase movement in our lives
  5. prioritise intimacy in our romantic relationships
