The tragic rise in suicide cases linked to bullying is becoming an increasingly urgent mental health concern across the world, particularly among young people navigating social pressure, emotional distress and the growing impact of online harassment.
What is particularly concerning is that many young people suffer in silence, often afraid to speak out or uncertain about where to seek support. Psychologists say the conversation can no longer focus only on reacting after tragedy strikes, but must also centre on prevention, emotional support, early intervention and creating safer environments at home, in schools and online.
