For more than two decades, the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme, better known as CAADP, has served as the African Union's blueprint for transforming agriculture into a driver of economic growth, food security, and job creation.

Now, with African leaders having adopted the new Kampala Declaration and a ten-year CAADP Strategy and Action Plan for 2026 to 2035, the continent is setting ambitious targets to increase agricultural output, boost intra-African trade, strengthen climate resilience, and build more sustainable food systems.
