South Africa has officially launched the rollout of Lenacapavir. This is a twice-yearly, long acting injectable that has proven effective in scientific studies to prevent HIV infection.
Countries such as Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Kenya and Zambia are among the African countries that have already begun their respective rollout programs of Lenacapavir.
