After months of trying, they decided to get fertility testing only to learn that her husband suffers from varicoceles, where the veins in the scrotum that carry blood away from the testicles are enlarged, decreasing sperm count and quality. After one unsuccessful round of IVF, they’re waiting to start a second. We discuss the importance of sharing stories in the MIDDLE of the story and how to try to live life while waiting or pursuing a goal, especially one that we have little control over.
