After a long wait, the Talk On Your Fork podcast is back with Season 2!!!
It's the program where SYN's unseasoned chefs tell stories from the kitchen, aiming to turn cooking from a chore to a joy...and learn how to properly season our food!
For Episode 1, Kaspar kicks off our Tips From The Kitchen with an interview with Lin Jie Kong, the producer and co-author of the book ‘Chopsticks or Fork?’. Delving into the rural Chinese restaurants of Australia, Lin Jie speaks of incredible stories of family and community, as well as the hallmarks and future of Australian-Chinese cuisine.
Then for our Potluck segment, Lucy immerses us in the vibrant atmosphere of The Pontian Club in Fitzroy North, reflecting on the sounds and flavours of that sunny September afternoon. From the prized olive oil to the Pontian language, we learn about rich cuisine and history of the Pontian Greeks and their thriving place in Melbourne today.
