We all know that love is personal. It is messy, it is beautiful, and it is often the greatest teacher of all. But, here’s the thing: even as adults, our journey through love doesn’t always happen in isolation. For some of us, our parents remain very much part of the conversation - sometimes with gentle advice, sometimes with strong opinions. So, the question is: should parents weigh in on their adult children’s love lives? Is it care or control when parents voice concerns? When does guidance become interference? We discuss this with our guest: Gaishrie Sharon Singh - a motivational speaker, transformational catalyst and author, and Aimee Naidoo - a counselling facilitator at the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG).
