The recent Vanderbijlpark crash that claimed the lives of 14 learners has shaken the country and forced us to confront a devastating reality: our roads are not safe, especially for our children. These were young lives filled with promise, futures that never got the chance to unfold - lost in a moment that could, and should, have been prevented. We speak to motoring journalist and road safety activist, Ravi R. With years of experience analysing vehicle safety, driver behaviour and transport systems, Ravi helps us unpack what went wrong in this tragic accident, why dangerous driving continues unchecked, and what each of us - drivers, parents, commuters and authorities - must do differently.
