The Devil’s Dictionary is a cyberpunk thriller by Steven Kotler, who happens to be one of the world’s foremost experts on peak performance. And yes, you will need to inject this story into your veins. In fact, one of my new favorite quotes comes from the book. It reads, "Lunacy is a fairy tale. The full moon doesn’t make us mad.”
You'll love this book, as well as Steven's most recent nonfiction book The Art of Impossible. He's a true polymath who has his hands in so many different projects, including Planet Home and The Forest + Fire Collective. You can learn more about Steven's work HERE.
It's no coincidence that I'm ending the first season of the podcast with a guest like Steven Kotler. I'll be channeling a lot of what I've learned from him into the my first official month as a business owner. Which means I'll be going on hiatus for a couple of months, so that I can focus on launching my business and putting the final touches on my upcoming novel Allow Me to Ruin Your Christmas (on-sale November 8th). These are, as Steven would say, my MTPs (Massively Transformative Purposes).
My hope is that you've enjoyed listening to these guests as much as I've enjoyed speaking with them, and that you've learned something (or, a LOT of somethings) along the way. I'll be back in late September with an all new lineup of guests and look forward to sharing their stories and journeys with you.
You can keep up with me on the socials and on my website, which you'll find HERE.
