Victoria's deputy Liberal leader is facing questions about his use of travel expenses. Sam Groth, who also serves as the state's shadow Sports Minister, has claimed travel expenses for trips including the Australian Open and a visit to Adelaide for the Live Golf tournament. Mister Gross says the trip was in line with his portfolio's responsibilities and will declare his expenses in line with the rules. Premier to Cinterer Allen says he needs to show how his use of public funds is appropriate. An urgent amendment is being pushed through Victoria's parliament to ensure newly appointed Police Commissioner Mike Bush is eligible for the job. The amendment to the Victoria Police Act twenty thirteen seeks to ensure the Chief Commissioner of Police and Deputy Commissioners can be someone who is not an Australian citizen. The Premier is adamant the changes are administrative. A man has been charged with murder after a thirty five year old was found dead in a hotel room in the Range on the Gold Coast. A cleaner found Matthew Pasco unresponsive on the floor of his room at the Hinterland Hotel around eleven fifteen am on Saturday. Authority is arrested and charged a thirty four year old at Narrangman last night. His case was mentioned in Southport Magistrate's Court today, no application was made for bail. Australian TV personality Magda Zabanski has announced she is undergoing treatment for cancer. The sixty four year old says she has been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer. The comedian revealed the news in a social media post, appearing with a shaved head along with the message I've been diagnosed with Stage four mantle cell lymphoma, a rare and fast moving blood cancer. A huge chunk of aglacier has collapsed in the Swiss Alps, leaving a village partially destroyed. Authorities say ninety percent of the village of Blattin has been covered by thousands of tons of ice, mud, and rock. One person has been reported missing and multiple homes have been flattened. The village was evacuated earlier this month due to fears of a rock slide. US court has blocked Donald Trump's Liberation Day tariffs. It's the first major legal challenge against the President's sweeping import policies. The Court of International Trades as President Trump overreached his authority. It ruled duties cannot be imposed on imports from nations that sell more to the US than they buy. The Liberty Justice Center represented five small businesses which import goods from countries targeted by the duties. The US Constitution grants Congress power to regulate commerce abroad.
