It’s been over two decades since the Somali Civil War first began and since then the Somali diaspora (Qurbajoogta) has grown to two million people, including the thousands that live in Australia today. These Somalis all have unique migration stories and came to Australia for different reasons.

A person, or any creature, finds it difficult to move from any home alone and transition into another place. A nursing home can be limited from everything you might not have in life, including the outdoors. Signal Boost Participant Elise Romaszko visits a nursing home and chats to a lady and her dog.
