Guest: Rorisang Sechele , Qualified vocalist, songwriter, recording and performing artist

Rorisang Sechele is a skilled and qualified vocalist, songwriter, recording and performing artist; based in Pretoria. Her musical development started in the Jacaranda Children’s Choir whereafter she attended Pro Arte Alphen Park classically trained and accomplished her music studies with distinction. She heeded the call of music once more when she went on to study Jazz and Popular Music at the Tshwane University of Technology, graduating Cum Laude in 2020.

In addition to having made it into the highly coveted Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Band in 2021 under the conducting guidance of Dr Nduduzo Makhatini, Rorisang has performed alongside Lisette Spinnler, Nthabiseng Motsepe, and Zenzi Makeba-Lee. As a member of The Anchored Quartet, conducted by Ofentse Pitse, Rorisang has worked with Sun-EL Musician, Simmy, Msaki, and Ami Faku to name a few.
