The POWER of rebrand and why YOU might need one (behind the scenes)

There’s a podcast studio less than 5 kilometres from here charging 50% more than us for the same service 


It's time to align ourselves with the market.

 After searching around to other studios or having used their spaces before we found our own I thought I had aligned our studio hire cost with the market while knowing we over delivered compared to them all.


Let’s look at our costs
Equipment:

$10,000 worth of cameras

$5,000 worth of lenses 

$2000 sound mixer

$4,000 in microphones 

$1000 video mixer

$1000 in studio lighting 

To rent that alone from a store very close to here. For the day it would cost you over $1,000

So what do you think a one hour Video Podcast Studio hire is worth?

Revealing the cost of Podcasting! We HAD to increase our prices

At the end of the last episode I revealed I’ve had to delete an episode off our YouTube and LinkedIn page.

That was because I can no longer say our studio has been designed by the incredibly talented individual who helped us get this far.

No bad blood.

Just not enough money to afford the finishes she had selected. We are still bringing to life the studio in their vision and I would say 85% of the finishes she chose it’s just the dining table design which is the feature piece of the room was to be customer designed and the quotes I got back were $20,000!

Now you probably might be thinking the same as me when I got that through “absolutely not” that's ridiculous but after some reflecting, and going with a pre made $2000 choice elsewhere, I also think those design choices are why they are a pro working for the most famous design house in the world and we are not.
