Sporong residents forcibly displaced by zama zamas still in the lurch

Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi says the province will avail its best resources to tackle challenges faced by the residents of Sporong, in Randfontein. Lesufi has assured the community that they will be moved from the local community hall within a week. This as hundreds of residents from the informal settlement were forced to flee their homes to seek refuge at the hall after allegedly suffering violence and intimidation at the hands of illegal miners since last year.
