A retired neurosurgeon is undertaking a 7-thousand kilometer motorbike ride to the furthest parts of South Africa to raise funds to provide access to medical care to vulnerable children. Doctor Andre Hattingh started the 21-day mission in Oudtshoorn and is now in KwaZulu-Natal. His non-profit organisation - Pediatric Care Africa - aims to sign on two doctors in every small town to examine two children a year, free of charge.
