This ep started with Craig giving an unsolicited TED Talk on fibre, psyllium husk and bowel movements... and somehow ended with us talking about grief, emotional avoidance, ageing parents, self-awareness and what it actually means to process life's hard stuff.
It's perhaps one of the most honest chats I've had in a while as I shared some of the things I've been wrestling with lately... losing a client to suicide, watching people age, and the weird gap between understanding what's happening intellectually and actually feeling it emotionally. Harps, (fortunately for me) had plenty to say about grief, fear, empathy, self-regulation and the difference between knowing something and actually living it.
It's a conversation about being human. About not always getting it right. About carrying things we don't fully understand yet. And about trying to show up well when life feels messy, complicated and a little bit uncomfortable.
Also, if you're struggling to poo, Harps has some advice for that too.
