Michael Donehue shared his story of mental health and suicide with us back in episode 331. He's a hell of a bloke and a great communicator in this space. We're not going over old ground in this chat today, but I've invited him back on for a casual banter about all things head talk. Michael is a mental health first aider and travels Australia teaching, training and opening up the mental health conversation and I was interested in digging beneath the surface and discussing the reality of 'being well' as a bloke who openly and honestly shares his journey and fronts up to fly the mental health flag amidst the natural ups and downs we all have in life.
We talk about sitting with ourselves (and/or our peers) and navigating the troughs and Michael shares some of his professional tips on how to approach a topic that the majority of us feel completely out of our depth in approaching.
Top bloke, top chat... Check out his Journey Apparel attire and rep the brand!
