Indlovukazi was born and bred in Nkomazi Esibayeni, Mpumalanga, South Africa. She wrote a song Mculo and posted a video of herself singing the song hoping for black Coffee to see it and work with her. Black coffee saw the video but recommended heavy K. Mculo with Heavy K opened more doors for her; she has now released the song Gugulethu with Prince Kaybee, Supta and the Afro boys. My Dali with Tns. Soon to release a song with Malumz on Decks.

She launched her professional music career through Ilizwi Musical Theatre play at The World Economic Forum in Cape Town where she met the legendary Yvonne Chaka Chaka who praised her talent. In South Africa she has performed in big festivals like: Mbombela Jazz Festival, Grahamstown Arts Festival, Durban July, SA Music Indies, Mbombela Infecting The Cities Festival, The World Tourism event, Miss Mpumalanga, and many more.

Mbuli's first steps towards a professional musical career were taken in 1981 when he recited two poems, "Sies" and "Ignorant," at a memorial concert for Father Castro Moyathula. His performance was so well received that he was asked to repeat the poems at the funeral service at Regina Mundi Church. Mbuli soon became a regular performer at political and cultural events. Despite government resistance, he successfully built an extremely loyal following. His second album, Unbroken Spirit, qualified for gold status without the benefit of radio exposure. Forming a band, the Equals, in the early '90s, Mbuli set his hard-edged, mostly English, lyrics and deep voice to a fusion of Marabi (South African Jazz), Kwela (pennywhistle music), and Mbaqanga. By 1994, Mbuli had risen to the upper echelon of South African music and was invited to speak at Nelson Mandela's inauguration.

Louis Khumalo to become a solo artist without becoming a backing vocalist for other artists like most musicians do. IMBA is a film and music movement formerly formed by a Television Producer/Director/Music Composer and Producer Wandile Funani kaMnqanqeni in 2013. Wandile hails from Makwababa village in Cofimvaba in Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. The group currently has two lead vocalists; Nkeke Funani with her roots from a village called Medigen in Limpopo but grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa.
IMBA’s music is not confined within a certain genre as its co-founder Wandile is a versatile artist who besides creating television content, directing and producing had also started singing from childhood and sang Choral & Opera music when he got to Johannesburg. IMBA’s primary objective is to use its influence to develop music & TV broadcasting skills throughout the country with more focus on rural communities.

When he returned to South Africa after democracy he was honoured by all the Presidents of South Africa with the “National Orders Awards”.
In the program repertoire included top artists from the African Continent like Wes Madiko from Cameroon, PSquare & Fela Kuti from Nigeria, Kassav Band from Caribbean Island, Romeo M from DRC, Organized Family from Zambia, Sipho Gumede & Thokozani Langa from South Africa.
