Luke O'Neill and the science behind happiness, laughter and long lives

View descriptionShare
It's Science Week and so the Real Health podcast wanted to get the answers to life, death, health and happiness and everything in between!

Who better to ask than Professor Luke O'Neill, the author of Humanology, which answers the twenty questions about life and our existence.

It’s a fascinating interview with a true scientific expert in his field and we cover topics such as why do we laugh?; sleep and the daily rhythms of life (it’s all about clean-up time for the brain, a bit like putting on your dishwasher or washing machine at night says Luke), as well as our desperate relationship with food and why our Stone Age bodies are built to run, eat, run.

While you won’t hear any health, fitness or nutrition tips on this episode I do think you'll enjoy it and learn something new.
