We spend a huge part of our lives at work, so we often notice when a colleague starts to change. The person who was once enthusiastic, chatty and full of ideas becomes withdrawn. They stop contributing in meetings, seem less engaged, make more mistakes or simply don't seem like themselves anymore. But what do you do when you notice it? Do you check in, give them space, speak to your manager, or simply focus on your own work? But then comes the tricky part. You're their colleague… not their therapist, not their partner and not necessarily their friend. So how do you strike the balance? And what should managers and colleagues be doing when someone's change in behaviour begins affecting their work? joining us for this conversation is Career and Life Coach, Lesego Aphane.
