Soweto-born storyteller Nozuko Mapoma, better known as Zu, discovered her voice in an unexpected place; her Grade 11 music teacher’s local restaurant. It didn’t take long for her melodic sound to captivate patrons, marking the beginning of what would become a booming career in the South African music industry.
