GP HEALTH STILL OWES SUPPLIERS MILLIONS

The African Union (AU) Peace and Security Council (PSC) will convene its 1245th session to consider the Post-Election Situation in Mozambique, as an emergency session prompted by the post-election violence in Mozambique.  Thabiso Kotane speaks to Research Fellow at the Thabo Mbeki school of Public and International Affairs (UNISA).

More than 100 legal practitioners have been struck off the roll for misconduct this year, says the Legal Practice Council (LPC).  LPC said a furthermore than 150 have been placed on suspension this year alone as a result of the work done by the council.  Thabiso Kotane speaks to Acting Senior Manager of the Regulatory and disciplinary department at the LPC, Jalo Herholdt.

Following two hearings of a matter between the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) and Eskom Holding SOC LTD, the municipality welcomes the High Court decision ordering the power utility to suspend the Writ of attachment of its bank accounts since the decision was unconstitutional, unlawful and invalid from the start.   Thabiso Kotane speaks to Emfuleni Local Municipality spokesperson, Makhosonke Sangweni.
