The twinkling lights, classic films on every channel, and Christmas carols are all symbols that can inspire the best feelings in the world, but they can also feel oppressive when we’re finding it difficult to catch the spirit. Feeling lonely around the holidays can make us feel as if something is wrong with us. Everybody else seems to know how to be happy, how to be together, how to be festive, merry, and bright.
