Day of Goodwill/Boxing Day is believed and treated as an extension to Christmas but the history behind this holiday holds stories of colonialism and british traditions. In British tradition, people would ‘box’ their christmas gifts in a way that held sentiment. On the other hand, Boxing Day was significant to British people because it was a day servants were allowed to go home to see their families after serving their masters on Christmas.We are in conversation with Adv.
