The Winton Players were formed at Winton House in 1947 and with their AGM coming up on Wednesday 22 July this year they report very good dramatic and financial health.
Their Alumni from 1947 includes Edward Kelsey, who played Joe Grundy in the Archers for many years, as current chairman Roger Wettone explains.
Speaking to Mike Waddington, Roger talks about the past year's productions, success at the recent NODA Awards and their coming programme.
They are one of a number of drama groups in Petersfield (like Lion and Unicorn, Petersfield Theatre Group and Petersfield Youth Theatre) but says Roger, they contribute to the cultural life of Petersfield from their base at the Festival Hall.
