Helen Davis is a former business analyst turned clinical hypnotherapist and functional movement tutor. Alex Gadsden runs TPC the Petersfield Cleaning Services and Nicholas Orringe works in the insurance industry. He’s a professional loss adjuster with expertise in Fine Art, listed buildings, yachts and classic cars.

And we hear from Beth Svarovska from First Friday talking about July’s event in Petersfield.

New research has highlighted that resistance training strengthens muscles and bones. It improves metabolism and can reduce the risk of chronic disease.

Experts say that regular strength exercises can enhance mobility, independence and overall quality of life.

Shine radio spoke to Gym Manager, Callum to find out about the different resistance machines, along with which is best resistance training or cardio.

Resistance training can boost health and longevity

Petersfield's Men's Shed is one of the largest in the country and Nick Broom was once again elected chairman at their AGM. on 20 June. Nick speaks to Mike Waddington about the last year and new groups established to do more of the same, but more of it!

We also hear from 'Mike' about why he comes along.

They had a visit on 23 June from the UK Men's Shed Association and we hear from the national Chairman Rob Lloyd (who also attended their opening day some time back) who praises their progress and the range of activities on offer.
