There was a pupil-free day in Canberra recently and the Guild invited all the employees’ kids to come and hang out at the office.
We let Chloe, the host's daughter, chat to the kids and ask them what they think their parents did at work all day. Then, Chloe when and spoke to the parent to get the actual story.
Chloe found that some people like watching magpies, that there seems to be a lot of coffee, emails, and meetings, and even something about air traffic control. She even found one person on their first day on the job.
And, of course, jellybeans were an important topic!
We thought this was a lot of fun and a nice way to learn a little bit more about some of the Guild staff.
Enjoy.
