The Different Personalities That Make a Family

View descriptionShare

Dr Seuss once wrote “You are the youiest you.” It’s a great phrase reinforcing there is no one else completely like you. In our relationships we forget that sometimes. We expect our children and partners to be as excited as us about something or respond just as quickly (or slowly) as we had hoped.

But they too are the “youiest,” versions of themselves.

For our spousal, parenting, and even friendship relationships to success, we need to embrace how people naturally are.

In this episode Kate talks with Jan Terkelsen. Jan has spent two decades working with leaders and their teams. One tool she uses often is the MBTI. It can offer insight into your personal preferences and help you identify why some relationships are clicking, and others need more work.
