Decoding Feedback: How Personalities Shape Our Responses

View descriptionShare

There’s been lots of study on how to give feedback effectively but very little on how people receive it.

That’s a pretty important piece of that puzzle.

In this episode Kate chats Sports Rob Mason who is a coaching development manager with the Port Adelaide Football Club. He coaches the coaches.

How people respond to feedback (and how they absorb it) varies according to personality type. From extroverts who thrive in group discussions to introverts who favour one-on-one interactions, and from sensing personalities who need practical, tangible insights to intuitive ones who resonate with big-picture thinking, the spectrum is wide and complex.
