Mama Tupou Manapori QSM, is the chair of the Cook Islands teachers and educators collective NZ, & Lecturer for the NZ Certificate in Pacific Languages L3 & L4 Cook Island at MIT in Auckland.
She, along with other experts in Te Reo Māori Kūki ‘Āirani launched the Cook Islanders Teachers & Educators Collective New Zealand (Au Taunga Korero Kūki ‘Āirani o Aotearoa) in 2019.
She joins us on Pacific Days to speak more about keeping the Cook Islands language alive.
