Myasthenia Gravis is a rare and chronic autoimmune disease that affects the nerves and muscles in the body. Vera Krewsun, Heidi Claus and David Yonki join the show to shed a spotlight on the disease and local support group for area residents living with Generalized MG - or gMG - and highlight an upcoming free educational event happening April 23rd. Vera's husband, Harry, helped start the group, based out of Moosic, in 2011. He was diagnosed with MG in 2004. The trio hope to spread awareness of the disease and educate the public on symptoms such as droopy eyes, difficulty breathing, double vision, speech difficulty and more. The free event will be held at Harvest Seasonal Grill in Moosic and feature speakers, information and more.
