The Ronald McDonald House of Scranton provides a place of rest and care for families whose children and battling serious illness in area hospitals free of charge. They have since expanded into Allied Services of Scranton, creating "Family Rooms" so families don't have to stray far from their children. The nonprofit starts off the month of May by kicking off a newly revamped brand reveal on the 15th to coincide with their 40th anniversary. The organization has also partnered with Mariotti Building Products for a special raffle, where one lucky winner will receive a $30,000 dream kitchen makeover! These events help fuel the nonprofit, who is always looking for donated supplies and volunteers to assist with keeping the Scranton House and family rooms fully stocked with everything a family away from home could need.
