Bishop stressed to be aware of your surroundings when traveling outside, and to watch out for slippery walkways, holes and other hazards that snowfall may have hidden. 

(12:45 - 27:18) May is is ALS Awareness Month, and the ALS United Mid-Atlantic Region is holding a walk on April 18th an PNC Field in Scranton to raise awareness and support. Regional Coordinator Mary Beth Tomczak, ALS patient Paul Miller, and his caregiver and wife Eileen join the show to elaborate on what ALS is, how it affects the body and what is known about the disease - also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. ALS is a neurodegenerative disease affecting nerve cells in the brain. People with ALS keep their cognitive skills, but lose the ability to walk, use their limbs, eat, speak and eventually breathe.
