Rich Bradshaw from the Ronald McDonald House of Scranton drops in to let listeners know about their upcoming "Show us Your Stripes" 5K run, walk and Hot Rod car show on September 21st at Nay Aug Park in Scranton. The Ronald McDonald House in a nonprofit, founded in Pennsylvania and now expands worldwide, whose mission is to assist families while they are caring for their critically ill children in area hospitals. Families are able to receive care while in the hospitals, or stay nearby at the Ronald McDonald House in Scranton , and have everything provided to them free of charge so they can focus on what really matters during one of the most critical times in their lives. Bradshaw also announced plans to build inside of Allied Services to assist families working through physical therapy and other needs. Coming up an a special anniversary, the there of this years race will feature all things Grimace and include a cookout following the event.
