The North-South Corridor has been pushed back by two years, with the full project now expected to be completed in 2029. But there could be some relief for residents and businesses along the route much sooner.
Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow said the major structural works causing the most noise and dust are expected to be completed by the end of 2027, with roads, footpaths and other affected spaces starting to be reinstated from 2028.
So will bringing forward the most disruptive works actually make a noticeable difference to daily life?
